Mondo grass can also be affected by nematodes that live in the soil and damage the root system. You should submit a plant sample (roots, stems, and leaves) to the University of Hawaii’s Agriculture Diagnostic Service Center (ADSC). It is important to know the cause of a plant problem before applying pesticides because it may be not only a waste of money but also harmful to your soil ecosystem and to the environment. Below is the contact information for ADSC: Agricultural Diagnostic Service Center University of Hawaii at Manoa 1910 East West Road Sherman Lab 134 Honolulu, HI 96822 Phone: (808) 956-6706
