I live in Hawaii and want to start a vegetable garden. Do you have a good Web site or references to look at for home gardens?

It's great that you want to start a garden! Check out the information available at: Free Publications CTAHR. Click on "Home Garden" and "Home Garden Vegetable." You may also find the book "Growing Vegetables in Hawaii" by Kathy Oshiro to be helpful. This book should be available to order online or at local book stores. Watch for topics of interest at the The Green House - Programs events and at botanical gardens and community colleges. Also, announcements often appear in the Friday editions of the Honolulu Advertiser.
