Are honey bee microsporidia, such as Nosema, dangerous to people and other mammals?

Microsporidia are fairly specific to their hosts, at least within the host’s taxonomic family. While there are microsporidia that infect vertebrate animals (several species infect humans), Nosema ceranae and Nosema apis appear to be specific to bees in the insect family Apidae.
