Eggs are normally found within cracks and crevices of the hive or under the cappings of brood cells. Larvae are found crawling in and out cells of the comb and within debris on the bottom board (floor of the hive). The pupae are found within the soil surrounding the hive and the adults are seen crawling within the hive and combs attempting to avoid the bees and light. - Clarence Collison, Mississippi State University
