Will nearby large volume well systems for irrigation or other purposes impact home drinking water wells?

The increased pumping of larger capacity well systems during a drought may cause the ground water level to be drawn down, affecting drinking water wells. A quarry operation or large-scale development might do the same thing. The declining ground water level may then be below your pump's intake. The answer is deeper drilling, rehabilitation, or fracturing.
