As a caregiver, I am stressed already. The economic downturn is adding to my anxiety. What can I do?

Caregiving in and of itself can be stressful for some people, so minimizing stress in other areas, when possible, can be a helpful strategy. You can talk or read about the economy to the point of extreme stress or more anxiety.

Doing three things will go a long way to having a positive influence on your relationships and help you deal with your economic situation: 1) keep friends close, 2) express gratitude, and 3) channel anxiety and stress in healthy ways.
