Where have the highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 outbreaks occurred?

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), outbreaks of HPAI H5N1 in people have been reported in 15 countries. These include Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Djibouti, Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Myanmar, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam.
