Aster Data Sets: You can download free Aster data from the Global Landcover Facility at: http://www.landcover.org or follow this link http://glcf.umiacs.umd.edu/data/aster/ You can also download Aster data through the Global Visualization Viewer (GloVis) at: http://glovis.usgs.gov/ The scene size of Aster data is 120x150 km with bands 1-14 available at varying resolutions. Swath is 60 km Each Aster scene comes with a shapefile that gives the footprint of that scene.
