We just discovered a GIANT bee or wasp nest in our attic - it is the size of two basketballs and is in the far corner of the attic, so it is difficult to get to. How do we go about getting rid of it?

Bee and wasp nests are very tricky to deal with. You need an expert in bee and wasp removal. Some pest control companies offer such service, so look in your local yellow pages or contact the local county extension office for the name of a pest control company or beekeeper that can remove the nest with no danger to you and your neighbors.

Remember that simply killing the bees will leave a lot of organic material (honey, pollen, wax, dead bee larvae, dead bees, etc) that also need to be removed; otherwise you can end up with another insect infestation and some terrible odor from that corner of the house.
