A first choice is to go to ranchers from whom you have bought goats previously. The second choice is to go to ranchers of reputable standing in the industry. The third choice is to use an order buyer of good repute. In any case, select purchases on-site from an excess of offerings. This way you can cull those that don't suit you. For those lacking in goat buying experience, we strongly urge you to obtain an adviser, by whatever name: consultant, order buyer, a successful goat producer, etc.
