Assuming you are doing showmanship with your stock horse (Quarter Horse, Appaloosa, Paint, Pony of the Americas [POA], etc.), a clean, well-shaped hat with a Quarter Horse crease looks great for youth and adult showmanship competitors. Remember, it is very important to choose a hat color that complements your showmanship outfit (which should also complement the color of your horse). If you need specific guidance on this, consult a local tack shop, custom show clothes designer, or trainer in your area to design or pick something out that will work for you and your horse.
