Can I use human toothpaste to brush my dog's teeth?

No. Human toothpaste contains fluoride, bleaches, and irritants and is not meant to be swallowed. This can be harmful to dogs. Dogs cannot rinse and spit like humans; therefore, it is necessary to brush your dog's teeth with a toothpaste manufactured for use on dogs.
