When do powers given to someone with a durable power of attorney end?

Powers granted to someone to act as another person's agent with a durable power of attorney cease when the creator revokes the power of attorney or upon the death of the creator. At the point of death, the terms of the deceased creator's will and/or trust documents will determine who continues to manage the creator's financial affairs.
