BP, as a responsible party, has committed to pay all legitimate claims for loss and damage caused by the spill, including claims for assessment, mitigation and cleanup of spilled oil, real and property damage, personal injury, commercial losses and other losses. Claims may be registered using the BP toll-free claims line (1-800-440-0858) or online.

If the BP claims process does not address your needs, you may seek additional assistance through government resources. DisasterAssistance.gov has assembled resources for individuals, small businesses, and communities.

Details on BP claims processes and information about government resources are on the DisasterAssistance.gov website.
