Do omega-3 supplements go bad?

Yes, they can. Omega-3 supplements contain fat that can become rancid if stored for too long or under improper conditions. Make sure to keep your omega-3 supplements in the container they came in with the lid closed tightly. It is best to store them in a cool, dry place, and to use them by the expiration date listed on the container.
