How much do I charge for raising beef feeders if the customer pays all calves, feed, and hay costs? All I would provide would be the labor, water, and facility. The calves start at about 500 lb, and we would raise them to about 1200 lb. I was just wondering what to charge per head per day.

A typical yardage charge is around 35 cents to 45 cents head per day. It would be important for you to make sure that this cost per head will cover all of your labor, equipment, depreciation, facility upkeep and repairs, insurance, taxes, utilities, etc. Obviously, economies of scale come into play here in terms of how this works for you, as the more calves you can feed, the more you can reduce the fixed costs per head.
