Are there brand names that are from co-ops?

Yes, many cooperatives have brand name products. Brand name products often come from value-added activities of cooperatives, whereby they turn raw commodities into finished products, or from a marketing strategy of using a brand name to delineate their products. Examples of brand names from cooperatives include Ocean Spray cranberry juice, Land O’ Lakes butter, Cabot cheese, Sunkist oranges, Welch’s grape juice, Florida’s Natural orange juice, Birdseye vegetables, and many others.
