The Student Chapter of the American Association of Equine Practitioners at North Carolina State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) is hosting the annual Horseman’s Youth Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 14. This event is designed to give youth (ages 9-18) a first-hand look at equine anatomy, physiology and veterinary care. Topics include: determining the age of your horse by dental exam, basics of preventative medicine, close up instruction in equine anatomy and more.
