Join Debbie Stevens (William Penn University) and Joseph Kerski (ESRI) as we incorporate web-GIS, desktop GIS, and GPS into examining everything from local to global, from agriculture to climate change, from natural hazards to population, in this hands-on workshop.

Take Away: Knowledge, Skills & Resources – including a free GPS unit and free access to software and equipment for group application to apply these technologies in your classroom or youth program.

Who: Iowa Educators (formal & informal) of youth in grades 6 - 12
What: Two-Day Professional Development Institute focused on Integrating Geospatial Technologies & Inquiry-Based Learning into Classroom or Youth Instruction
