The workshop is hosted by Takeshi and Linda Akaogi, recipients of two NE-SARE farmer/grower grants on this topic. Speakers include the Akaogi's; Dr. Randy Barker, Cornell University; Dr. Yolanda Chen, University of Vermont; Dr. Ronnie Coffman, Cornell University; Christian Elwell, South River Miso; Dr. Peter Hobbs, Cornell University; Professor Susan McCouch, Cornell University; Gen (Fumio) Onishi, Cornell University; and Dr. Tatiana Schreiber, Union Institute & University. The workshop is intended for commercial growers and professionals, academia, and students in the following fields: agriculture, natural resources, and environmental sciences (including farm interns).
