If you want to know the pros and cons of farming with horses and some economic and environmental considerations, then come to this workshop. Jay and Janet Bailey and Rebekah Murchison of Fair Winds Farm have been farming with Suffolk Punch draft horses for 28 years. All of the farm's systems are designed around maximize the use of horse power. Jay, Janet, and Rebekah will demonstrate the use of various pieces of equipment with horses. There will be exercises developed to help you understand if farming with horses is for you. Please bring a bag lunch; drinks provided.
