Description:
Please join us for an upcoming chat on “Talking with Young Kids About Money”; it will take place on July 23rd at 11AM Eastern Time. You can access the chat at http://connect.extension.iastate.edu/managingmoney. As many of you know, kids learn about money management from both formal education and social learning. We want to think about the youth development issues, strategies, successes, resources and expectations about impact during this chat. Our panelists include Kimberly Nute-Jones, University of Illinois Extension; Megan O'Neil-Haight, University of Maryland, and Erica Tobe, Michigan State University Extension. Your moderator will be Michael Gutter, University of Florida. You can view their bios at http://cop.extension.org/wiki/Talking_with_Young_Kids_about_Money. As a reminder, these chat sessions are text only, there is no audio feed. If you are unable to attend, we will be posting the chat record as soon as possible following the chat. You may email Michael Gutter msgutter@ufl.edu to be notified when the chat record is posted. Note: If you have problem with the above link on the day of the chat, type the address into your web browser. Or call 800-478-0057 for assistance.
