Description:
A field day at University of Idaho's Kimberly R&E center will be featuring their organic research. The organic research is being conducted on the two-year certified organic 11 acre field. Topics covered include studies of organic nutrient sources, cultivation and meals for weed control, biological control agents for diseases, visual and olfactory attractants for insect control, as well as an organic potato variety and storage trial. Starts at 9am with a tour beginning at 9:30. Cost is $10 includes lunch. Hosted in partnership with the University of Idaho and Three Rivers RC&D. Carpooling to Kimberly is available.
