Online: Brushy Mountain Bee Farm

November 10, 2009 at 10:00 AM

Description:
If you have been in beekeeping for more than a year or two, I'm sure you have heard the analogy between the beeswax comb of a beehive and the human liver. In case you haven't, basically the wax comb absorbs contaminants and purifies the hive as a result, much the way the liver detoxifies the blood. This is just one more reason the brood comb should be rotated on a regular basis.
