Description:
Participants will help Michigan State University develop and prioritize concepts, messages, target audiences, and identify key partners for wood energy extension. Members from industry, government, and academia will be attending. Much of the direction taken by MSU Extension in providing wood-based energy education will be based on the results of this Summit. The morning will consist of several short presentations designed to highlight the status of current efforts and environment in the wood energy sector. In the afternoon, participants will break into smaller groups to develop the ideas necessary to assist in the construction of an effective outreach program.
