Description:
This popular seminar has been bringing horse owners together from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa and Michigan since 1989. Each year a different speaker and topic is featured. This year we are proud to present Eric Thompson as our featured speaker. He will be demonstrating large animal rescue techniques with an emphasis on horses. Know what to do if a horse gets stuck in the mud, stranded on the ice, trapped in a burning building or involved in other emergency situations. The seminar is a great learning opportunity for horse enthusiasts at all levels. Morning Sessions for The Seminar for the Serious Horse Owner will be held at the Ebling Symposium Auditorium, Microbial Sciences Building 1550 Linden Dr., Madison, WI. Afternoon Demonstrations will be at the UW Stock Pavilion 1675 Linden Dr., Madison, WI. For more information, visit http://www.vetmed.wisc.edu/ce/horse_owner/index.php.
