Description:
On Apr 13, 2010 from 07:00 pm to 09:00 pm you have the opportunity to learn about laminitis triggering mechanisms, how to feed the thin or overweight horse, and other nutrition-related issues, during a presentation by Dr. Sarah Ralston. Dr. Ralston’s research findings have been featured in numerous equine periodicals and books. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the subject of feeding the metabolically challenged horse. Many owners seem to be dealing with horses that are too fat, too thin, have Cushing’s Disease or are known as “founder waiting to happen.” For more information, visit http://www.das.psu.edu/research-extension/equine/events/equine-nutrition-short-course-1.
