Description:
May 10-14, 2010 (Monday through Friday) 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Students will learn basic hoof and leg structure, basic hoof trimming and shoeing techniques, and improve present shoeing skills. Course includes classroom lecture, practical “hands-on” experience, student classroom presentations and a research paper. The first class will be held at the USU South Farm Livestock Pavilion Classroom, South of Logan at 3580 S. Highway 89-91. Day 2-5 will be held at the USU South Farm Livestock Handling Facility.
