Description:
Learn how to create interactive Google Earth or GIS maps using cameras and handheld GPS units! This workshop builds on basic concepts from GPS Basics to cover the process of collecting and linking digital photos to GPS points. The most of the beginning of the workshop will be spent in the field collecting pictures and points. We will wrap up the course by linking the digital photos and GPS data using free software, then making an interactive map using Google Earth or free GIS software.

*link GPS data with digital photos
