FREE community awareness event on sports concussions. Sports medicine physicians Dr. Lori Boyajian -O’Neill and Dr. David Dyck, along with neuropsychologist Dr. Terrie Price, will give honest answers to your questions about sports concussions. Refreshments will be provided. This program is intended for parents, coaches, school nurses, ath-letic trainers, and anyone that wants more information about concussions in sports. Knowledge is power. Did you Know? High school students are more at risk for permanent effects. Girls have a higher percentage of reported concussions. A concussion IS a brain injury.
