Description:
The Blueberry Festival takes place on the Village Green and Library Lawn in beautiful Montrose, set in Pennsylvania's Endless Mountains. This annual celebration, two days of entertainment, food, crafts, and games, is sponsored by the Susquehanna County Historical Society and Free Library Association. Each Festival draws thousands of people and raises money to help operate the county-wide library system and historical society. The Blueberry Festival opens both days with a pancake breakfast at 8am, followed by lunch. Snacks are available all day. Local growers donate fresh blueberries, and community members serve lemonade and ice cream. Homemade baked goods, including blueberry muffins and pies, are for sale. Each year an heirloom quilt specially made for the Festival is raffled off. Click
