Description:
The youth horsemanship school is based on the belief that: learning is achieved best in a hands-on, environment. Students spend the majority of their time in riding sessions (2/day), and supported by educational demonstrations and workshops which cover equine and related topics during non-riding times. The school is limited to the first 50 students (ages 9-17) who register. Students must provide their own horse and tack (Western OR English)to participate. Students may provide their own chaperones or sign up for a school-provided chaperone. More information can be found at Montana State University's Equine Extension web page: http://www.animalrangeextension.montana.edu/equine/equine.htm.
