The Building Environmental Leaders in Animal Agriculture (BELAA) project has several objectives:

Reward proactive young & beginning animal ag producers for environmental stewardship through the "Environmental Leader" award program.
Develop educational modules for use by classroom teachers, extension staff, young farmer & rancher advisors, and animal ag producers.
Deliver environmental programming at national NYFEA events

Who Is Involved?

Meet the BELAA Team. This project is a joint effort between University of Nebraska, Montana State University, Livestock and Poultry Environmental Learning Center and the National Young Farmers Educational Association (NYFEA).
