I need to remove my Social Security number from my late husband's death certificate. It was put there by error. What can I do?

Contact the county department that issued your late husband's death certificate. If you don't have their contact information available, check with the funeral home that handled his burial arrangements. Funeral homes generally request death certificates as part of their package of services.
