I am fond of kohlrabi and have been successful in growing it. Some of the kohlrabi is beginning to flower. Do you think it would be detrimental to its quality to allow the flowering to continue?

Kohlrabi which flowers gets woody and should have been harvested smaller. If you let the kohlrabi produce seed, the saved seed would produce kohlrabi. It may not have exactly the same characteristics as its hybrid parentage but close enough for kohlrabi.
