According to the Sevin SL® label, no more than two applications per year (once every six months) should be applied. According to the Astro® label, users should apply no more than 2 lb of active ingredient/acre/year. You can always contact the manufacturers of these products for more information. Pesticide labels are legally binding documents, and all pesticides must be applied in compliance with product label directions.
