The feed budget tracks a pig's body weight and the predicted amount of feed that will be consumed as the pig reaches its body weight. Diets may be ordered or delivered in a pre-determined fashion based on pounds of each diet allotted per pig in the facility. By the time the pigs consume their allotment of diet 1, the grower must already have scheduled the delivery of the next diet.
