Iowa State University, in cooperation with the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Department at South Dakota State University and the USDA Meat Animal Research Center at Clay Center, Nebraska are hosting a Mono-Slope Beef Barn Open House.

The objective of this open house is to highlight on-going research on collecting baseline data for gases and dust emitted from mono-slope barns. There will be seven 15-minute stations focusing on different aspects of managing the mono-slope barn. Stations will operate from 10 a.m. to noon and again from 1 to 3 p.m. The event is free, but please register by June 15 to help provide an accurate count for lunch and materials.
