Packing Safe Lunches

Keeping your lunch safe from the time you pack it in the morning until you eat it in the afternoon is crucial. If your food isn’t kept at the proper temperature, there is the potential for harmful bacteria to grow and make your food unsafe to eat

Some Tips for Packing a Safe Lunch:

  • Use a cold pack or freeze a drink box to keep the other foods cold
  • Remember to wash fresh fruits and vegetable prior to consuming
  • Purchase an insulated lunch box to keep the foods cool
