We are a group of professionals and individual, committed community members coming together to stimulate dialogue, exchange information, and document and share best practices related to community health concerns and promotion. We envision the CoP as a place where you can come to seek, and to develop, resource support for your efforts in creating your own local healthy communities.
For those who are striving to create healthier environments at the local level, Creating Healthy Communities was developed to help you along that path. The CoP serves both as a provider of information and assistance and as a referral agent to other sources, points of expertise, and examples of effective community initiatives. We provide a repository of resources that can lay the preliminary ground work for you and will exhibit the “best” that exists in both knowledge and experience.
