Description:
The Alabama Cooperative Extension System will be joining with the Alabama Clean Water Partnership to host a “Make and Take Rain Barrel Workshop”. The program will be held on November 8th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Coffee County Extension Office. The cost of the workshop is $35. Participants will learn about watersheds, nonpoint source pollution, the importance of water conservation, water harvesting, and a brief intro to rain gardens. Each participant will construct and leave the workshop with a completed rain barrel.
