Description:
Mules and donkeys are often treated as horses with big ears. Amy McLean, University of Wyoming, will focus on the similarities and differences of feeding and properly caring for mules and donkeys. Mules and donkeys have served as beasts of burden for thousands of years. They have worked and lived in some of the harshest environments. Today, donkeys and mules still work in such conditions and serve some of the world’s poorest people. In industrial countries they do little to no work and have endless amounts of energy rich nutrition. Register for the webcast.
