Becky Mitschele, physical scientist with the U.S. EPA, Office of Wastewater Management, will provide an overview and answer questions about the proposed rule requirements for Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs) with a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit. The proposed rule public comment period ends December 20. Mitschele’s primary responsibility at the EPA is the implementation of the NPDES permitting program for CAFOs. Webcast details.
