Do I need a shopping cart?

The need for shopping carts on your website depends on your volume of sales, customer expectations, and your desire to take online orders. A shopping cart enables customers to click on items on your site and pay for them either by credit card or PayPal on your site. If you do not have a lot of volume, it may be less expensive to have customers call or e-mail you with their orders. When you set up a shopping cart, there will be a set-up fee, the cost of the additional software, a monthly fee, and, depending on what payment you accept, credit card fees.
