Description: 17th Annual Wisconsin Aquaculture Conference March 9-10, 2012 at the Hotel Mead and Conference Center , Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. This year’s theme is “Aquaculture for the Future” with featured speakers - Leo Ray, owner, Fish Breeders of Idaho, Inc.; Bob Lusk, owner, Pond Boss Magazine; and Nicholas Zaccaria, Bell Aquaculture, LLC. Filling out the schedule there will be 20 additional speakers presenting timely information on walleye culture, aquaponics, marketing, build it yourself, aqua-tourism and healthy benefits of seafood. The conference includes the annual high school poster contest, Alice in Dairyland, Retail Product Showcase, Taste of Wisconsin Aquaculture Cooking Demo, vendor trade show and silent auction.
