St. Augustinegrass is a warm season sod forming turfgrass popular in southeastern coastal areas of the U.S.

St. Augustinegrass characteristics

  • Tropical and subtropical coastal grass
  • Not cold tolerant
  • Coarse leaf texture
  • Does not tolerate heavy traffic
  • Tolerates saline soils
