What are oats?

Oats belong to a group of plants known as cereal grasses. Cereal grasses produce what are called cereal grains. Oats are a type of cereal grain that is used to feed humans and animals. Oatmeal is a common way in which we eat oats. Other cereal grains include wheat, corn, and sorghum
