Agent: Bacteria (rickettsia)

Vector: Rodents (inc. rats, mice, squirrels), opossum (via rat flea or body louse)

Route: Flea or lice bites; inhalation; wound/eye/nose/mouth

Symptoms: Fever, severe headache, chills, general pains, possible rash.
