BXN Cotton

A cotton variety that has been genetically altered to tolerate the herbicide Buctril (bromoxynil). BXN cultivars were the first commercially planted transgenic in the U.S. For various reasons, including its limited weed control specturm, it is now obsolete.[[Category: copy edit ready]
