Benthic Mapping

Benthic means water or having to do with water. Benthic mapping is taking measurements on the bottom of a body of water. The body of water can be an ocean, lake, river, etc. The results from Benthic Mapping can tell us many things about the bottom of the body of water and its role in maintaining water quality.
